Ramazan ka chand daikha,
Rozay ki dua mangi,
Roshan sitara daikha,
Ap ki khairiat ki dua mangi,
May Almight Allah bless you with his
blessing in the holy month of Ramadan…

Woh sehri ki noraneyat,
Woh iftaar ki rounaq,
Woh aasman se rehmat ka barasna,
Woh masjidun ka rooh parwar manzar,
Woh naikiyon ka jazba,
Woh tilawat ki dhoom,

Mere Lab Pe Mola Na Koi Sadaa He
Faqat Mujh Nikamme Ki Yehi Dua He
Meri Sanse Nikle Dar E Mustafa Pe
Gham E Dil Nabi Ko Sunate Sunate
Mera Yeh He Imaan, Mera Ye Yaqeen He
Mere Mustafa Sa Na Koi Haseen He
Rukh Un Ka Dekha He Jab Se Qamar Ne
Nikalta He Munh Ko Chupate Chupate…

IB ACIO Exam Pattern Sample Papers & Books

IB ACIO Exam Pattern Sample Papers BooksIB (Intelligence Bureau) ACIO (Assistant Central Intelligence Officer) Exam 2012 is still some time off - scheduled to be held on 23rd September, 2012. Are you one of those who had applied for this job and now want some prep material – the sample papers and books for IB ACIO exam? This blog post is being made just to help you find these exam papers and prescribed book.

If you are a graduate, aged 27 years or less and have not applied so far but would like to, please visit my previous blog article titled: IB ACIO Recruitment 2012 Notification, Form & Eligibility.

First let us find what is the pattern of IB ACIO exam.

IB ACIO Exam Pattern:
Selection process for Assistant Central Intelligence Officers in Intelligence Bureau consists of a written exam followed by Interview.

The written exam consists of both objective type (Paper-I) & descriptive type questions (Paper-II).
The Objective type (multiple choice) question would be set from following test sections:
1.0 General awareness.
2.0 English language.
3.0 Test of reasoning.
4.0 Mathematical aptitude.
Descriptive type questions would be set for Test English language (Essay & Précis writing). Both objective & descriptive type examinations will be held in a single session for 1 hour and 40 minutes.

Other than above, ACIO exam notification has not said anything about the number of questions in each area and also what would be the mark distribution.

Sample/Previous years Exam papers of IB ACIO Exam:
I am always skeptical about the sample or old exam papers of recruitment exams posted on the net. The reason being there is no authenticity about the exam papers and whatever papers are posted, they are not of high quality. Therefore I always tell examinees to go for books instead of online sample papers as preparation material, as book authors are at least accountable for the accuracy of information published.

IB ACIO Exam papers are no exception - When I searched on the net for exam papers of this exam, I came across a lot of websites/blogs posting bogus links on paper download. However I could find following previous years paper of IB ACIO Exam useful:

This IB exam paper gives you solved Objective type question paper on English Language & Comprehension (Held on 24-1-2010).

In addition to above IB ACIO exam papers, I would advise you to go through the sample papers of Bank PO exams, as the test sections are identical - General awareness, English language, Test of reasoning and Mathematical aptitude. You can just go through this blog post on SBI PO exam papers.

Prep Books for IB ACIO Exam:
IB ACIO Exam Prep BooksI could find following books available in the market for IB Assistant Central Intelligence Officers exam.

Ex Oasis Man Bonehead On His New Band Parlour Flames

Ex Oasis rhythm guitarist Bonehead aka Paul Arthurs returns to recording and performing in new band collaboration with Manchester alt pop troubadour Vinny Peculiar. 'Parlour Flames' have recorded a debut album due end of 2012 and are set to tour both as an acoustic duo and full band. European and UK dates are currently being booked.

Bonehead has toured with a few bands since leaving Oasis but this is the first time he is planning on releasing, not only a single, but an album.

"This is the first time in a while its felt totally right what I'm doing and the music sounds fantastic. Vinny is such a talented singer songwriter and together we have come up with something we can both be truly proud of"

Bonehead & Vinny have been very busy in the studio and the album is nearly complete…

"The album took a while to come to fruition. Core vocals, guitar, piano, bass and keyboard parts were played by ourselves with guest performances from 'Bob the Brass' on trumpet/fugal horn, Semay Woo on cello's and Anna Zweck [Samson& Delilah] on flute & b/vs all significantly adding to the cinematic feel of the songs. The drums were played by Chorlton beat-poet in residence Che Beresford [Badly Drawn Boy]. We are really pleased with the results"

Vinny Peculiar christened 'Tony Hancock of Pop' by UNCUT MAGAZINE continues to release albums of outsider pop music to great critical acclaim. Notable collaborations include the Soupline with Bill Drummond (KLF) - , video installations with Tom Robinson (BBC 6Music) and his various bands have included ex members of the Smiths, Aztec Camera and the Fall.
